Sardis Lutheran Church
The Adult Chancel Choir of Sardis Lutheran Church is a welcoming, faith-centered community dedicated to lifting hearts and proclaiming the Gospel through the gift of sacred music. Rooted in the rich tradition of Lutheran worship, our choir serves as both a musical ministry and a spiritual family—uniting voices, ages, and backgrounds in a shared calling to glorify God.    Each week, we gather not only to rehearse, but to pray, learn, and grow together. Our rehearsals are joyful, encouraging, and grounded in a spirit of fellowship. Whether we are preparing classic hymns, beloved liturgical settings, or new anthems that speak to the modern church, our goal is always the same: to offer music that enriches worship, supports congregational singing, and invites all who listen to encounter God’s grace.    The Chancel Choir sings for Sunday morning services, festival Sundays, and special seasons of the church year including Advent, Christmas, Lent, and Holy Week. We believe that music has a unique way of expressing truths too deep for words alone, and we take seriously the privilege of helping lead God’s people in praise, prayer, and proclamation.    While we strive for musical excellence, we value heart and community above all. Our choir includes lifelong singers, beginners, and everyone in between. No matter your level of experience, there is a place for you here. We rejoice in each person’s God-given voice and see our differences as part of one harmonious offering to the Lord.    Above all, our mission is simple: to worship God faithfully, to support the ministry of our congregation, and to share Christ’s love through music that uplifts, inspires, and connects people to one another and to the Gospel.    If you are searching for a meaningful way to serve, grow, and belong, we would be delighted to welcome you into the choir loft. Come lift your voice with us—there is room for you in our song!
