About our choir

Jasmin has sung in choirs since she was 5. When she migrated to England, she sang with London City Singers an all female Barbershop Chorus. Choir directing happened quite by accident, but she has taken to it with a 100% focus and commitment. She has completed the Fundamental directing course with the Association of British Choral Directors and looks forward to more learning. ‘Every rehearsal is a school day for me’ she admits, and is growing with and learning from the ladies in her choir. Music has always been a big part of her life and she is thrilled to share her passion with a wonderful group of ladies, who in turn share the music with their community. Her favourite song that the choir perform is Bridge over troubled Waters, arranged by Kirby Shaw.
