Welcome to Taff Ely Ladies Choir    The Taff Ely Ladies Choir is a vibrant and welcoming group of women who come together to share their love of singing and community spirit. Established in February 2023 in the heart of Coed Ely, a picturesque village nestled between Llantrisant and Tonyrefail in Wales, our choir provides a place where voices unite, friendships are formed, and music brings joy to all.    Our name is deeply rooted in the local landscape, inspired by the Taff and Ely rivers, which flow through the region and meet the sea at Cardiff. Just as these rivers merge, our voices come together to create something truly special.    ⸻    Who We Are    At Taff Ely Ladies Choir, we believe in the power of music to uplift, connect, and inspire. We are an inclusive, supportive, and fun-loving group, welcoming women of all backgrounds and abilities—whether you’ve been singing for years or just love to hum along to your favorite tunes. There are no auditions and no committee, just a relaxed and friendly environment where everyone is encouraged to find their voice.    We sing a diverse repertoire, from timeless classics to contemporary hits, ensuring there’s something for everyone to enjoy.    ⸻    Where & When We Meet    We rehearse every Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at:    📍 Coed Ely Community Centre  📍 Ely Valley Rd, Coedely, Porth CF39 8BE    We offer a 4-week free trial for new members—come along and see if we’re the right fit for you! After that, it’s just £5 per week.    ⸻    Performances & Achievements    Since our formation, we have had the privilege of performing at various events and venues, sharing our music with audiences near and far.    One of our proudest moments was our appearance at the 2024 National Eisteddfod in Pontypridd, a testament to our dedication and love for singing.
