About our choir

We are a group of Lilly employees, retirees, and family members who love to sing. We are led by Ruth Dwyer, formerly of the renowned Indianapolis Children's Choir. Ruth's fearless leadership has grown our choir, both in size and abilities! We are accompanied by Prof Paulo Castro of Marian University; he is a gifted accompanist and singer in his own right.    The Lilly Chorus has been in existence in some form since the 1940s. It was created at the request of Mr Eli Lilly, grandson of the company's founder. We are proud to maintain this tradition.    We sing for internal events upon request, as well as out in the Indianapolis community, bringing the joy of music to our audiences.    If you love to sing, and you are a Lilly employee/retiree/family member, get in touch with us.
